Making sustainable events commonplace

We love working with clients that share our enthusiasm for creating sustainable events. Unilever capitalized on some of the sustainable build methods we have been using for years, but also pushed us to explore new materials and interrogate the full life cycle of every part of the stand. The result was our most sustainable build yet, that will take Alchemy's future builds to a new level.

Oasis of calm

Unlike any other stand at the show, we focused on building a guided journey for visitors to the Unilever booth. This meant each visitor received the same level of experience and was exposed to consistent messaging around Unilevers social missions and pioneering research and development. The final part of the journey allowed visitors to have detailed discussions with representatives from Unilevers focus brands in an environment that was described as an “oasis of calm” in comparison to the rest of the show.

Unilever had a true understanding of how many visitors attended their stand, paired with real visitor analytics and the knowledge that each visitor had been exposed to the message they wanted them to take away from the event.

Mosaic activation

A visitor engagement that allowed people to have their photo taken and place a printout of that photo on a giant mosaic board a few seconds later. Visitors took part to show their support for the two social missions promoted by Vaseline and Dove. Each participant also received their image via email with an automated endorsement so they could share their experience and support on social media.
